Solar Boat Team

SVP finally works on the water! For years, people at car shows and events have asked us if its a boat, and now we can finally tell them that they do exist. The Orono HS Solar Splash team gave us a ring the week before their race to ask for some help getting their system as good as it could be. They leave for their race on Wednesday morning, so well be sure to keep you posted on how they do. Kelvin is the one in the picture, and hes done a great job getting 4 guys to build a pretty sweet boat. It goes upwards of 32 mph and can burn through 43 kilowatts of power to get out of the hole. It runs two motors together to get that kind of power.
