North American Solar Challenge Trial Drive

The U of M Solar Vehicle Project was invited by Formula Sun officials to take part in a trial drive of the North American Solar Challenge (NASC) Race Route. This new route, for NASC 2005, will start in Austin, TX traveling north toward Winnipeg, MB then west across Canada to Calgary, AB. A full list of checkpoints and stage stops is available. We will be starting the trial drive in Austin on Sunday, July 18, 2004. Look for photos and updates from the road as we embark on this groundbreaking event.
