Driving to Topeka

The team left St. Paul at 8AM and we made rapid time for Topeka. The drive was uneventful except for the hitchhiker we saw in the back of a pickup truck. There was also a fuel stop during which the truck and trailer parked at a pump, but no one filled it up or realized this until a few miles down the highway.

Raising the Flag

The antenna tower was put up early complete with University of Minnesota flag and the jolly roger to mark our territory.
