In late 2014, the Solar Vehicle Project began work on their latest car. Within a year, we had designed and built Eos. Eos is the 12th car built by the University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project and the second to carry multiple people simultaneously. Eos has raced over 3000 kilometers in the World Solar Challenge in 2015, placing 5th in its class, and 1975 miles along the American Solar Challenge, placing 10th overall against a field of Challenger Class vehicles.
