As we prepare for our race, our engineers are finalizing the systems that allow our drivers to interact with and understand the vehicle.

It is thanks to our electrical, computer, and software engineers that we have these systems; our engineers design our Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) from scratch in Altium before working with Quantronic Corp to get them produced. For Eos II, our members have focused on combining boards from Eos; by cutting down on the number of boards installed on our vehicle without sacrificing their functionality, they are engineering smarter to improve reliability.

These boards represent another unique opportunity for our students. They are able to learn the principles of designing these PCBs, which are integral to countless tools in our lives, in class and then they are actually able to gain experience designing, constructing, failing, redesigning, and reconstructing here with our organization. When they graduate, they have real experience producing important and working PCBs.
