Manufacturing is Picking Up Speed

This past week several major parts of the new car arrived in our shop.

The aerodynamics guys have been working since early September on painting and polishing the mold for the bottom shell of the car. This weekend they completed the layup for the bottom shell over at Delta's composite shop at the airport and brought the part home to the shop.

Meanwhile, our mechanical team has been hard at work getting the chassis design finalized. Last night we were able to bring the last panels back from getting waterjet cut at PAR systems.

Large portions of the car are going to be going together very soon; this is a very exciting time!
