This completed solar module is one of many that make up the photovoltanic array - the car's power source.
Starting from monocrystalline silicon SunPowersolar cells, our students solder eight cells together into a module. Then, we head over to 3M for encapsulation. Using their films, encapsulant, and facilities, each module is carefully protected from dirt and dust that could cause harm.
