Formula Sun Race Update: Day 1

It is now the third day here for us in Topeka. On Monday we were the first team to pass Electrical, Mechanical and Array Scruitineering. On Tuesday we completed our dynamic testing during a refreshing rain storm that is "oh so common" here in Kansas.

Today at 9am, we started the official Formula Sun Grand Prix race. We were able to hold the first poll position since we won the drag race competition on Tuesday evening. During the drag race we hit 45.1 mph, and completed it the fastest time with a 23.77 secs.

Today marked a huge achievement for the team, ending the day in second place to Kansas State University, as well as qualifying for America Solar Challenge.
