Dimensions Academy Visit

We had some very intelligent 5th and 6th graders from Dimensions Academy come and teach us a few things about how to build a better solar car.
Their trip was about learning about solar cells, engineering, conservation of energy and so much more. They also learned how regenerative braking works! Tim Kaari, one of their teachers, said afterward, I heard so many conversations about science and college and future jobs the trip really inspired them to think about what could be down the road. That is so valuable in and of itself.
Sometimes we forget that we do stuff that people CAN understand. Who would have thought?
